Back in mid-2021, Henderson released a video in which he claimed to have heard that the next GTA game would be taking place in a modern setting, though he didn't rule out a return to Vice City at some point in the game. Many believe that the game will be set in a fictional version of Miami, though those hoping to dive back into eighties Vice City may well end up disappointed, at least if prominent industry leaker Tom Henderson ends up being correct.
